2. Hosting & Server Log Files

The server automatically collects access data (e.g., IP address in truncated/anonymized form, date/time, requested URL, referrer, user agent) to ensure operation, security and stability. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data are not merged with other data sources and are automatically deleted after 7 days.

3. Cookies & Consent Management

For optional statistics we use cookies/similar technologies only after your consent. Your consent is voluntary, can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future and can be changed via the cookie settings . The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

4. Google Analytics (GA4)

We use Google Analytics (provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to statistically evaluate the use of our website. After your consent, cookies or similar identifiers are used. We enabled IP anonymization so your IP address is truncated before processing. Personalized ads/signals are disabled.

  • Processed data: pseudonymous usage data (e.g., pages viewed, click paths, session duration, approximate geolocation), truncated IP address, technical device/browser info.
  • Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time (see below).
  • Retention in Google Analytics: aggregated/event data are deleted or aggregated automatically according to the GA4 retention settings (e.g., 14 months).
  • Third-country transfer: a transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out. Google relies on EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We have a data processing agreement with Google.

Opt-out / Withdrawal: You can withdraw your consent at any time and disable Google Analytics. Use the buttons under “7. Cookie Settings & Opt-out”.

5. Contact

If you contact us by email, we process your information to handle your request. Depending on the context, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract/pre-contractual) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in communication). Data will not be shared with third parties without your consent and will be deleted after completion unless legal retention duties apply.

6. Your Rights

You have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR. You also have the right to withdraw consent at any time with future effect. Moreover, you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
