AllSkyKamera Network
We make the sky visible — for everyone.
The AllSkyCamera network connects people, technology and science to capture, explore and protect the night sky together.
With cameras at various locations in Germany and worldwide we document, around the clock, aurora, meteors, clouds and light pollution. The data and images are available in real time — for education, research and everyone who loves the sky.
Each camera is equipped with sensors and regularly provides images and measurements. Our goal is to share knowledge, encourage participation, and make the night sky visible as a valuable habitat worth protecting.
Have a look at our FAQ-Side — and if anything is still unclear, just get in touch.

The network is a purely private, volunteer-run initiative. All costs (server, domain, power and hardware) are paid privately. If you like our work, we appreciate a little support to cover ongoing costs — a coffee helps a lot. Building the Python library and website takes many hours — coffee keeps us going. support.kofi_text
