I'm Stefan Gotthold, a graduate engineer in technical computer science in mechanical engineering – passionate about communicating astronomy and developing hands-on education and tech formats.

AllSkyKamera network
Developing and operating several Raspberry-Pi-based all-sky cameras at different locations – including sensors (brightness, temperature, humidity), an InfluxDB data pipeline, website & visualisations (keograms, star trails, analemma).

In addition to the AllSkyKamera network, further digital platforms are currently being developed around science communication, data access and education.
The blog portal bundles articles, background stories, project updates and insights into technology, astronomy and citizen science.
Open blogThe school portal has been under prototype development since April 2026. The goal is an interactive learning environment with modules on astronomy, earthquakes, data analysis and STEM topics.
Open school portalThe data portal has been in prototype status since April 2026. It is intended to provide data products, visualizations and scientific access to camera data and other sensor systems.
